Overview of Emfovir  

Emfovir is an effective formulation of Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate and Emtricitabine. It is a prescription regimen belonging to the class of antiretrovirals. The drug is prescribed for the treatment of an infection caused by the human immunodeficiency virus commonly known as HIV infection. It is available in the form of tablets packed in a bottle. The strength of each Emfovir tablet is 300mg (Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate) + 200mg (Emtricitabine) by Arechar Healthcare. This regimen is also used to prevent HIV infection or to lower the chance of being infected by this virus through sexual intercourse.
